Mortality, bone fractures and cataract:
Studies in COPD patients have not yet precisely defined
whether there is a decrease in the risk of dying or
an increase in the risk of bone fractures and cataracts
related to the use of inhaled
steroids . Because of the uncertainty associated
with these outcomes we do not further include these
outcomes in this decision aid.
